All retinal screening services at WHC are provided by trained staff and are free to everyone 19 and older.

Southwestern Pennsylvania has one of the highest rates of diabetes in the state.  Among the many diabetic related conditions are vision issues.  Through grants and support from community partners, WHC has been able to install a Digital Retinal Camera and implemented a free screening program for all residents, regardless of insurance state or income.

WHC hopes to prevent unnecessary vision loss by providing timely retinal screenings to the uninsured.
